Meet the real person behind all of this.
A graduate of Harvard University and The University of Texas, creative director/copywriter Matt McCutchin spent over 2 decades at creative powerhouses including DDB, Deutsch, Ammirati & Puris, Arnold, and Kirshenbaum Bond + Partners.
He’s created award-winning work for such clients as Volkswagen, Subaru, Snapple, GM, Midas, Compaq, Bank of America, IKEA, Citibank, and The Home Depot.
Over the past 14 years, Matt also taught at several leading advertising programs including the top-rated Miami Ad School, Chicago Portfolio School, and the prestigious Ringling College of Art + Design.
Seven of those years, though, were spent teaching at the University of Texas at Austin (ranked #1 by the Journal of Advertising Education), where as a full-time faculty member in the legendary Texas Creative program, he created several innovative online creative classes.
He’s also developed and taught courses online at the graduate Integrated Marketing Communications program at West Virginia University.
His legion of former students have won every major industry creative award, including numerous Cannes Lions and One Show pencils.
He currently lives in Austin where, despite this photo, he is usually smiling.

Matt is also very approachable, funny, charismatic. This class made me open up to being more creative and think about my niche within advertising.”
“Matt is awesome and makes me feel so good about my ideas and work. This has been the most engaging and interesting class I have ever taken…love love love this class…Also probably the best online class I have taken.
